The staff were genuinely really helpful and made the whole visit easy. I was able to find exactly what I needed without any stress, so that felt like a small win for my day.

We’ve been to the Tulsa Zoo a few times for seasonal events and kids’ programs, and overall they’re usually a good time. The activities are easy to follow, and the kids always enjoy them. The Halloween event was fun, but it was seriously crowded, and the parking and lines got frustrating. I get that big events are busy, but when it feels that disorganized, a simple apology or acknowledgment from the staff would go a long way. Still a nice place overall, just wish those busy days were handled a little better...

We went to the Tulsa Zoo with our son, who has autism, and it was easier than I was expecting. When we had questions, the staff just answered them and didn’t make it feel weird or like a big deal, which I appreciated a lot. There were quiet places around too, where we could stop and let him have a break. With his stroller, the paths were also easy to get around on. For us, it made the whole day feel normal, and that matters more than maybe people realize.

We stopped in the Tulsa Zoo gift shop after we were done, and it was nice. They had a bunch of cute stuffed animals, shirts, toys, and little things for kids, which worked out since we were trying to grab something quick before leaving. Prices were about what you’d expect for a place like that, not exactly cheap, but not shocking either. I do wish they had a few more adult shirt options, because some of the designs were cute but just not really in the sizes we needed. Still, we found a couple fun things to take home, so it was worth popping in.

I visited recently and was glad to see how clean the habitats were. The animals looked relaxed and well cared for, which made the whole experience feel better. Compared to some other places I’ve been to, it just felt more...

Went on a Saturday, so obviously it was crowded because apparently everyone had the same idea. The waits for most things weren’t too terrible, which was a nice surprise. The food line, on the other hand, moved like it had absolutely nowhere to be. Still, I ended up having a good time overall, so I guess it worked out.

There was some renovation work going on when we visited, so a few paths were blocked off and we got turned around a couple times at first. It was a little confusing, not gonna lie, but nothing too bad once we figured out where to go.
we still had a really nice day. The signs helped alot, the staff we talked to were super friendly, and the animals we were able to see were awesome. Defintely excited to come back when everything is finished up

Tulsa Zoo was a okay experience overall. The kids had fun, especially checking out the penguins and the big cats, so that made it worthwhile. There’s a decent variety of animals, and some of the exhibits are really nicely done. That said, a few areas felt a little empty, and in some spots it was hard to actually see the animals. For the price and time, I’d say it’s fine for a short family outing, but I wouldn’t go in expecting a huge, action-packed zoo day.

I thought this was a really zoo, and it had such a calm feel to it. There was a lot of shade too, which made walking around way more comfortable. I wasn’t sure at first if we’d spend that much time there, but it ended up being a really nice place to just wander around.

Parking was easy when we went, and we didn’t have to walk too far to get to the entrance. The paths were mostly fine with a stroller too… just a few spots felt a little tight, but nothing too frustrating.

we had a really good time and felt like the ticket price was totally fair. it was worth the admission.

The hours really worked well for our zoo visit. I just wish they stayed open a little later.

Just a warning for anyone planning a visit mainly around the train and carousel, that’s what we did, and it ended up being disappointing. The train ride was much shorter than we expected, especially for the price, and after waiting around for it, it felt even more underwhelming.

The carousel looked cute from the outside, but it really wasn’t anything special once we got on. The staff seemed worn out, which I get, but there wasn’t much direction or explanation, so the whole thing felt a little disorganized.

My kids were let down, I was frustrated, and I wouldn’t recommend making these rides a big part of your plans. The zoo itself is fine, but if you’re going mainly for the train or carousel, I’d lower your expectations.

I felt really comfortable the whole time we were there. Security was easy to spot, which made the place feel safe for the kids. that peace of mind makes a big difference and is definitely something I value when choosing where to go with family

I would not say this is great for younger kids. It might work better for older children, but for little ones it just did not feel like the right fit.

It wasn’t too far at all, and the walk was nice and flat. There weren’t no big hills or anything difficult, so it made getting around the zoo easy...

We got the zoo membership and its been totally worth it. Being able to stop by whenever we want without paying each time is great, and the free parking makes it even better.
